New Park Cottage is a delightful slate-clad Grade II listed traditional Dartmoor cottage, situated 200m from the centre of Widecombe-in-the-Moor. It is an ideal location for exploring the delights of the Dartmoor National Park. Bring your walking boots, pack a raincoat and head out on a new adventure every day. In whichever direction you roam, there are the most glorious uninterrupted views of the majestic tors and rolling hills.
There is a homely and comfortable feel to the cottage from the moment you enter; from the warming electric Aga to the wood-burner set in the striking granite inglenook fireplace. Returning home after a day on the moors is a real treat.
Outside, the mature garden has wonderful views up towards the tors and moor to the east of Widecombe. There is a good-sized lawn, ornamental pond and a small stream running down one side, a perfect setting for enjoying a drink and al fresco dining. A discreet outside WC is attached to the cottage. The garden is fully enclosed and private.
